Marco Lugli

An actor, singer and artistic founder of theatrical and musical projects, Marco Lugli studied acting and singing between Milan and London, complementing his training with intense work as a voice-over artist, announcer and performer in musicals and straight plays.

In 2008 he was one of the creators and founding partners, together with the producer Giorgio Bozzo, of the celebrated en travesti trio Le Sorelle Marinetti. Within the group he plays Scintilla Marinetti (the eldest sister, falsetto/soprano vocal register), for whom he has also looked after, from the very beginning, stage coordination, diction and theatrical presence.

With the Sorelle Marinetti he has enjoyed a decade-long career in Italy’s most prestigious theatres, taking part in key moments in the group’s history such as the 2010 Sanremo Festival alongside Arisa, the tours with Simone Cristicchi and Vinicio Capossela, and the recording of the studio albums devoted to the repertoire of the “syncopated song” of the 1930s and ’40s. Alongside his work with the trio, he continues his career in dubbing, radio presenting and the direction of live-entertainment events.
